How I highlight and contour

Highlighting and contouring can make a difference to your make up. Highlighting is done by using a light shade. You highlight to accentuate features of your face and can use highlighting as a way to make your face appear slimmer. Highlighting also gives your face that healthy glow. Contouring is used to hide features of your face and to give you an overall different shape. When contouring make sure you use a darker shade to your skintone.

I use blank canvas cosmetics highlight and contour palette.

Highly recommend this! The light shades I use to highlight. The two dark shades mix to contour and the two medium shades I add to the cheekbones.

Sorry about the bad camera quality and messing up the video!
I'll do another blogpost soon on highlighting and contouring tips when I am less busy. I hope you liked this post :-)

Indian look

Yesterday, I attended an Indian Mela with my best friends. Mela is a Hindi/Sanskrit word for gathering/fair.  The mela was a lot of fun with Bollywood dancing and music. My friends and I even got to join the dancers on stage and dance! For this event I decided to do brown smokey eyes with the addition of a gold bindi on my forehead as an Indian touch. I'm sorry you can't really see the smokey eyes in the photo, bad camera! I used Collection 2000 smokey eyes pallete for the eyeshadow which can be purchased from Boots. I also curled my hair using the Nicky Clarke thin barrelled hair curler to give it the summer beach look 😊
